Is it true that people with CURLY hair find it harder to get high calibre jobs??

I read that in a magazine last week. Something to do with curly hair not looking neat and revealing an unruly nature. I disagree with that but.............. What do you think??

Any prospective employer that would demonstrate that kind of narrow mindedness should make you RUN in the opposite direction! Your hair has nothing to do what's going on inside your brain. So no, whether your hair is black, yellow, straight, curly - if you're good at what you do it makes no difference.

That magazine was dead wrong. What's hilarious about it is that where I work (in a very high-end area/building), there is a large number of women with curly, "unruly" hair. Employers don't look at curls, only unkempt hair. Curly isn't the same as unkempt. Report It

It wouldn't surprise me....light skin also make it easier to get jobs (amongst Blacks %26amp; immigrants). I read that somewhere.

If it's true, it's stupid to not hire someone because of how their hair looks.

Not true. paper never refuses ink.

Is it true that people with CURLY hair find it harder to get high calibre jobs??

Wow I have never heard this!! That is some BS. Don't believe it.

HAHAHAHAHA. That just makes me laugh. My mother has curly hair, and she's the assistant of a CEO in a local bank. She gets paid really good, and her co workes think that she is smart enough to get her own company going. That is not true. Really it insn't.

what magazine did you read that in? that's really stupid and not true. why would a texture of hair interfere with a job position?
