First shampoo. Then condition very well, because it CAN give you good results. What I do is part my hair in half. Top-Bottom.

I do the bottom first. I use Frizz Ease Serum (really good) and then you blow-dry with a comb attachment. When it's 80% fry, then use a round brush. Take off the comb attachment and then use both the dryer and the round brush. It comes out really well. Sometimes I don't flat iron after I do that, because it gets really straight. Go get Frizz Ease right now! lol.

Your irons are your best weapons. You might want to invest in a more state of the art one because the better the iron the longer the relax.

after I blow dry my hair I use bed head's After Party, before I flat iron to relax the frizz. Also the best flat iron i have found is a chi. get ready to spend some bucks. cheapest I have found them is on ebay.

dry your hair upside down till it is damp. then dry sections at a time with a big round brush. when done with that, use your hair straightener or a very large curling iron. make sure you put a volumier, straightening cream, basically anything before you blow dry. this will keep your hair from curling back up once it is dry.

my hairdressing was telling me the best way to do this is to completly blow dry it first and spary water on the areas that are the frizziest right before u blow dry then iron

i pull my hair into a tight ponytail while it's wet and let it down when it's dry. that way the top is already straight and i don't have to worry about it. make sure you use products that prevent frizz. matrix sleek look are really good. they lock out moisture, so even if you want straight hair and it's humid outside, it won' t turn into an afro. i use the ironing spray and the hair spray and i have really curly hair.
