I'm 15 and I have curly hair, but it sometimes gets frizzy, what do I do?

I always use moose whenever my hair is wet, that makes it all hard and crunchy, and whenever it gets frizzy I wet it more but that makes it worse. I've tried everything, but I'm not sure how to control it. I want it to be soft and curly instead of hard and frizzy.

Ok, my daughter has curly/frizzy hair, here's what she does.

Shampoo is Schwarzkopf BC repair, Conditioner is Schwarzkopf BC repair. These are salon brands, the shampoo is $12.50 for an 8.5 oz bottle, and the conditioner is 14.50 for a 6.8 oz bottle, so they're not cheap, but they work. She also uses Biosilk silk therapy after she gets out of the shower, about a quarter size of it on her ends (which are the frizzy part), this works for her much better than the Frizz Ease serum you can get at WalMart. She's really had good results using the salon brands, and I don't care what people tell you, there IS a difference, and there is a reason they are more expensive than the stuff you can get at WalMart, they have much better ingredients! Using a diffuser on the hair dryer also helps her, she'll scrunch her hair as she's drying it. Also, (and I can't stress this one enough) she's almost quit trying to have the stick straight hair that all her friends have. Oh, she'll break out her straightening iron every so often, but the slightest bit of moisture in the air, and it's like she never even did it, and it takes her over 45 minutes to do. Get a good haircut as well, blunt cuts aren't for you, try some soft layers that will help accentuate the curl, rather than weigh it down. Best of luck to you!

umm theres this really good stuff my friend use to use..i forget what the name was but its serum like frizz ease and it works good when your hairs dry..but don't put to much or it will make it look oily..and when you use mouse don't use alot and it shouldn't be to0o0 hard

Try buying SunSilk shampoo and conditioner for curly hair along with the 24/7 hair cream that you leave in for needed moisture for your hair. It's really good for frizzy hair.

Go to a salon supply store and get a product called "Cholesterol" it works wonders on making your hair soft and silky!! I use it and it's fabulous. I think...they may have it at some Wal-Marts..not sure though! Go to a supply store like Sally's beauty supply or any place like that! It really will smooth out your hair!

Use cold water on your hair, your hair is frizzy because your using water too hot. Your hair needs also some serium for tame the frizzy-ness. Frieda has a great one john-frieda (hoever its spelled) you can get that at your local drug stores, it once was sold in salons then he sold out, smart bastard, but great stuff. :)

I have very curly hair also. I usually use the Pantene Curl Defining shampoo and conditoner along with the mousse. They also have some great serums and cremes. I really like Biolage too but its kind of pricey. I live with lots of humidity so my hair is also frizzy. Found Pantene to be much help.

My hair is also curly. Make sure you use a hydrating shampoo first of all. That will make a big difference. Irecommend Herbal Essences Hello Hydration ( the scent reminds me of gummy bears). Also use a really good mousse (V05 makes a really good one) hope this works for you as well as it has for me.
