What kind of hair style would be best for someone with thick dark curly hair?

My hair is long dark thick curly hair and the thickness is just too much. I tried cutting it short but it is still too thick. I need something that don't take long to fix. I like to straighten it but it is too much to do and I don't have that kind of time. what do you think?

take some hair gell and just run it through your hair. While its wet from the gell rough it up a little and let your curls stand out.

I have the same problem as you, I decided to get my hair layered and thinned out alot and then I straighten it nearly everyday and when I do it doesn't look really thick and it doesn't look like I have to much hair on my head because I get it thinned out!

You could try this sort of style but it depends on if you want it like this if not then just get it thinned out when you next go to the hairdressers because it helps alot when its thinned out, it's also not as heavy!!
