Simple Styles for thick and curly hair?

My hair is crazy thick frizzy and curly. I wont be able to go to the salon for a month or 2. I have to go to this party and I need a great look. I have some makeup but very little. I am hopeless at makeup and all that stuff. I have some jewlery but not a lot. Any ideas?

I have the same problem with my hair-it's so thick,frizzy and curly but I found the solution =).You just have to put mousse in it(scrunch it with you fingers) and gel for curly hair.I also use a shampoo and conditioner for curly hair.My hair is layered and I have a side bang and that looks really cute.

As for the make up,don't put too much of it because it's summer and it's hot outside,you can put a little foundation,a lip gloss and a mascara with little eyeliner on your eyes and you'll look perfect.Have fun at the party ;))

I have very thick and curly hair myself but I tend to flat iron it on a regular basis. I like that flat look over the curly look. Try it out you can buy a flat iron for about $20.

try some hair gel or olive oil on wet hair to make it manageable and shiny.

Lip gloss and a moisturizer with SPF and a little eyeliner would be enough.

A small pendant and earring would be enough.
