Do NOT do caramel it looks way too fake just get a nice warm brown color so it looks like you got in the sun, maybe a few bronze strands thrown in for some shine.

Don't follow the temptation to go with platinum blonde! Instead, light brown highlights would be very nice, capturing your tan. Also, red adds a lot of shine and prettiness, but it is better for the fall time, because the color lasts longer when the sunlight isn't as intense.

I would go to a salon and ask but since you asked...one or two shades lighter than your base color.

I nice dark brown which is a shade lighter than your normal hair color so it looks nice and natural ;]

the one thing you do not want to do with hair your colour is go too light...

to make it look the best have them use 3-4 colours and a great suggestion is to use:

level 7- light toffee brown

Level 8 Caramel

Level 9- Honey blonde

if you go too light it just looks trashy....

then again...."trashy" is a look too!

Omgsh your hair is like mine!

I got highlights but I said Light Brown Highlights but when I got the highlights in my hair was to dark so it ended up looking like a more redish tint.

Unless You want that I wouldn't suggest getting highlights.

But maybe a nice layerd cut with bangs.
